Vietnamese foods are very plentiful with numerous different types. The foods which are from the North are slightly different from the South and the remaining regions because of weather, cultures and lifestyles. However, due to the mobility of people to other regions of the country, local people have more opportunity to enjoy foods from other places.

Vietnamese foods are famous for noodle soups, dried noodles, pho and main dishes from many kinds of cooking from chicken, pork, beef, duck, squid and scrimp. These main dishes are well served with rice, rice noodles or even bread. Vietnamese people always have big family dinners when there is likely the time to see and talk to each other after work or school. These foods are even better when using chop – sticks to pick up foods or sharing foods for the other people.
